
Lanre Araba helped to bring life back to the dull social circle of DFW metroplex, Texas with the introduction of the
annual Nigeria Fashion & Beauty (NFB) Awards ceremony. A show designed to showcase and develop indigenous
fashion and beauty, as well as to promote Nigeria’s rich cultural values.
Lanre is the founder and Executive officer of OLOMU1, a showbiz outfit involved in the packaging and marketing of
events such as musical shows, beauty pageants, fashion exhibitions and award ceremonies spanning over ten
years.
With his wealth of experience in the dynamic entertainment industry and the emergence of his pet projects like
‘The annual NFB Awards Nite and ‘ ANKARA Carnival, Lanre Araba is making a significant strides and positioning
himself as the showbiz extraordinaire of our time.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
To showcase, promote and develop indigenous fashion, textiles, accessories and beauty products
as branch of Nigeria’s rich arts and culture
To recognize the conspicuous positive impacts of individuals and corporate bodies to the
development of fashion as a way of life and honor them accordingly
To launch the establishment of high quality and genuine African prints to compete favorably
in the international market.
To create an active platform for the discovery and promotion of young talents in the fashion &
beauty industry.
To serve as a veritable forum for all Nigerians regardless of social status, tribe, and religion to come
together to exhibit individual community/region’s rich cultural heritage.
Inorder to achieve these set objectives and make the award program the most glamorous annual
event, we are earnestly prepared to work in conjuction with individuals, socio-cultural organizations
and corporate bodies with close link to Nigeria’s fashion, textiles, accessories and beauty products
